Think back, way back, to when you were a customer, not a business owner. Chances are, you didn't know a 2-way from a standard and more importantly, you didn't care. We know this because when we try to explain to outsiders what we do for a living, they get a blank look on their faces. Store fixtures? What are those? When you do your job right, customers notice your product and rarely what that product is displayed on. So, as important as your store's distinct style and tone is, uniformity is not absolutely necessary. In fact, if you're one of the many ever so cool boutiques popping up in Portland and lands beyond, your 'style' is likely eclectic to begin with and that is the perfect setting to showcase used fixtures and fixtures used in ways perhaps not originally intended by their manufacturer.
It's all about flexibility. Some store fixtures are designed with one specific use in mind but most can be used for whatever you think looks good on them. For example, a dress form can be used to display pins and scarves, not just a single clothing outfit. So, if you come to the warehouse thinking, 'I need a chrome 2-way with square tubing, 16" waterfall arms with ball, not cubes, and a base to match the one I already have in the store', you might leave disappointed (and you might not, we're pretty good at what we do). On the other hand, if you walk in and think, 'I need something to display 20-30 shirts with a footprint of less than 3 feet', you might be surprised with what we can find for you. So come in soon and let us impress you!
