Gridwall hardware is just about anything that is meant to be used on the Gridwall panels and some things that aren't. We carry a variety of hooks, shelf brackets, shelves and baskets to work with Gridwall. For more information read on...
We carry hooks in lengths of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches. We also carry a hook called a Notch Hook; we usually refer to it as a 'Picture Hanger' because it is perfect for hanging framed art on grid. The hooks are available in chrome, black and white. Shelf brackets are meant fit on the grid and have a shelf, usually made of glass or wood, rest on them. They are available in 8, 10, 12 and 14 inch lengths. All sizes are available in chrome, black and white. Many different styles of baskets are available to be used on grid. These styles are available in black and white and are designed to display just about anything from food items to stuffed animals to CDs and DVDs There are also bars called waterfalls. They have an angled bar coming out from the grid that may have balls to allow you to hang clothes hangers or hooks to allow you to hang purses or whatever you can think up. Waterfalls are available in chrome, black and white. We also carry the legs and bases to make grid stand independently. There are two types of legs, "L" legs that are meant to be attached to grid when it is against a wall and "T" legs that are meant to be attached to grid panels so they can stand independently. Both types of legs are available in chrome, black and white. Bases are available in three different styles: the pinwheel, the triangle and the "H" stand. Each stand is available in chrome, black and white.
If you were to look down at the top of the pinwheel base, it would look like a pinwheel and requires four panels that are 24" wide, and any height. The pinwheel base comes with casters and would have a footprint of about 38"x38". The triangle base, coincedentally, would look like a triangle if you looked down on it and requires three panels that are 24" wide and any height. The triangle base comes with casters and would have a footprint of about 24"x24" The "H" base would actually look more like a capitol "I". It requires four panels that are 24" wide and any height you like. The set up is a little different though and the footprint would be 24"x48". So if you were able to look down at the panels, the set up would be two panels in the middle creating a straight line and then one 24" wide panel at either end making it look like a capitol "I". The "H" base does not come with casters. When arranging grid panels on the bases, you will need to secure them together. You can do this with zipties, which we carry in black and white, and also with a metal joiner clip available in chrome, black and white.
If you are planning to attach Gridwall to the wall you will need wall mounting brackets. Wall mount brackets have a back that looks like a diamond and is screwed into the wall through the holes at each point of the diamond. There is a bracket piece that comes out from the back and has a notch for the panel to rest in. How many brackets you need depends on how big your panel is and what you intend to hang on it. |
