The Wonders of an A-Frame Sign
Seven years ago, Kat and I were looking at ways to advertise. Much of what we found was expensive, short term, and didn’t really hit the market that we needed. (What we do is a moderately specialized market.) Then, we decided to put an A-frame sign two blocks up the street on a busy corner. All it said was “Portland Store Fixtures”, our phone number, and an arrow pointing toward our warehouse. The first day it was there, we got three new customers to come into the store. That sign is still on that corner (we eventually got a permit for it) and still working for us, yet we haven’t spent much more than the initial investment. How much would you pay for three new customers a day? Maybe a simple sign is the way to go.
