It's Summer! Go Do Something!

Reasons we are glad it's summer... or at least it's supposed to be summer:
- picnics in the Mt Tabor pavilion
- Movies in the Park
- Hiking in the gorge
- Portland Farmer's Markets without the umbrellas

- eating restaurant food outside
- reading in a lawn chair by the Sandy River
- shorts and flip flops
- Shakespeare in the Park
- salads and the wonders of cooking without turning the oven on
- white wine and wicker furniture
- open windows
- going to the movies when it's too hot outside to breathe
- Zoo Concerts
- social networking in the great outdoors... or at least outside your apartment
- Beer Fest (much more interesting when shouted with a German accent)
- lots of dogs on the street to say hello to
- tons of fresh veggies from all of your neighbors
- the Waterfront Blues Festival (which includes merchandise tent fixtures from your favorite fixtures store ☺)
