Mannequins & Forms
We carry lots mannequins and clothing forms!
Mannequins
Mannequins can be different shapes and colors, but, to be a mannequin, you need arms, legs, a torso, and, sometimes, a head. Many of the used mannequins we get are headless, but i you don’t have to display a hat, they work just fine. If a mannequin has a head and the face has a regular nose, eyes, mouth, and ears then we call this a “full featured” mannequin. Mannequins that have a head with no features are called “egg head” mannequins. (At least they are called that by us.) Mannequins can be made of many materials including fiberglass and plastic. Many mannequins come apart for ease of transport and ease of dressing. How many pieces a mannequin comes in depends on it’s brand, so some break apart almost completely and while only the arms come off of some others.

Body Forms & Body Parts
Forms can come in different styles also. There are “dress” forms that are usually covered in some kind of fabric, usually a linen or jersey material, and generally don’t have arms. Some dress forms only go from the neck to the waist while others have some thigh.
We also carry molded or vacuum forms made of plastic that has been molded to look like the front of a person. They are hollow and, because they have no back, they will lay flat against a wall. Because they are lightweight and durable, these forms are particularly well-suited to our customers who are vendors at weekend festivals and those who travel from show to show.
We always seem to have lots of used forms and mannequins around that are in good shape but, remember, you will put clothes on them so they don’t have to be pretty.
