Slatwall

For those of you who may not be familiar with Slatwall, think of a piece of wood about 3/4″ thick that has grooves running along it horizontally that are spaced about 3″ apart.  Slatwall is a more permanent means of display than gridwall.  It is meant to be mounted to a wall and left there.  If you have a permanent location, slatwall can be a great way to add some color to the walls and create lots of usable space.

Slatwall is sold by the sheet.  A standard sheet usually measures 96″ wide and 48″ tall with the grooves running horizontally. We carry two kinds of Slatwall in stock – “Paint Ready” or “Paint Grade” and Melamine.  Paint Ready slatwall is unfinished Medium Density Fiberboard that is ready to paint.  Melamine Slatwall  is also Medium Density Fiberboard but it has been covered in melamine.  Melamine is a plastic laminate use as a covering for counters and drawers because of it’s cleaning ease.  We generally keep paint ready, white melamine, and maple melamine in stock all the time.  Special order colors or finishes are a possibility, so give us a call to check on pricing and availability.

We also carry a variety of used slatwall, but we never know what is going to show up here so the selection is constantly changing.  Come in and take a look.  Sometimes we’ll have a great deal for you!
